Inspiring Generations

Japan Team Update - Day #5

HIGH:

  • Sunday Services! Our team had a full Sunday experience by first attending the Sunday Morning Service in the beautiful sanctuary. During Pastor Kim’s message, he said he was worried that our team hasn’t had enough to eat. He obviously is still getting to know us. HA! We then led children’s ministry during the second service, as Sydney taught the song “Jesus Loves Me” with hand motions and led a time of sharing for our group to share simple things about God's love.
  • Inspiring Others! The third service of the day was their daily worship and prayer night that was led by their youth and  children’s ministry kids. Here, Sean shared his powerful testimony again, but more in-depth. After Sean spoke, one of the church’s kids, who’s about 7 years old, shared “When I grow older, I want to go to other countries and preach the gospel too.”
    • To view Sean’s Testimony:

LOW:

  • Prayer request for physical health and protection from spiritual warfare. Some on the team are experiencing some physical ailments and certainly spiritual warfare in various ways.

BUFFALO:

  • Okinawan Spaghetti! Sakura has not only been an instrumental part of our team as a translator, she’s an awesome cook as she prepared our first homemade team dinner. With freshly grown tomatoes given to us by a new friend in the congregation, Saku used her mom’s tried-n-true recipe. Oishii!

Thank you for following us along on this journey!

Blessings to you all!
