Japan Team Update - Day #8
HIGH:
- Parent Love! Another parent shared with us the impact that we've been having with their families. First, her younger son is known to be quiet, reserved, and even non-talkative at home. However, since we've been here, he's been animated, so much more talkative at home, and especially ready to share his excitement to talk about how much he enjoys spending time with us and learning in our classes... Second, her older son has been struggling at school. He highly values his grades, but has been challenged lately and even bombed a big test today. With God's perfect timing, he attended tonights meeting when he typically doesn't and where Mimi shared a testimony. Her story really blessed and encouraged him, especially since Mimi is so young and they don't often hear from younger believers.
- Prayer & Worship Night! Another great night where our team led! Marcy & Mimi led worship, then Mimi shared a relatable testimony, & Sydney helped facilitate our prayer time.

LOW:
- Natto! We discovered natto isn't a crowd pleaser for our group! HA! But we did have an awesome sushi dinner in a traditional restaurant. Great cultural experience!
BUFFALO:
- Mosh Pit! Our Japanese students were introduced to an American dance favorite, the mosh pit! We taught the Catalyst classic "Deep Cries Out" worship song with dance moves. The kids had so much fun as we praised the Lord!
