End of the Road, Part I End of the Road, Part I End of the Road, Part I End of the Road, Part I

Japan Team Update - Day #17

As our youth & young adult mission trip comes to a close for Team #1, we find ourselves filled with a mix of emotions- gratitude, growth, and even a touch of sadness. What began as a leap of faith has become a journey that has transformed us in ways we never expected. Over the couple of weeks, we served alongside one another, stepped outside our comfort zones, and encountered people whose lives forever impacted ours.

This mission wasn’t just about teaching English to Japanese students or submerging into a culture other than our own, it was about relationships- both with others and with God. Whether we were teaching children, sharing testimonies, or simply playing tag, we experienced the power of connection and love in action. These small moments became sacred reminders that God's presence is everywhere, especially in the ordinary.

For many of us, this trip sparked a deeper understanding of what it means to live out our faith. We’ve learned that service & missions isn’t confined to a schedule or trip, it’s a lifestyle we are called to continue long after we return home. Now, we carry forward not just memories but a calling: to serve, to grow, and to love as Jesus did... May the end of this trip mark the beginning of a lifelong commitment to make a difference, pour into the younger generations, and do it anywhere the Lord leads.

We love you Full Gospel Fukuoka Church and the entire community!
