Japan Team Update - Day #21
HIGH:
- Omiyage! The gifts we've given out have been a hit. All around church we're seeing Trader Joe's Tote Bags, Catalyst T-Shirts, and Laker Hats. It's just another layer of feeling like home.
- Ice Cream Party! Today's weather was even more hot and humid than usual. Then it rained, and felt even hotter?! Yet, to the recsue were the sweet ladies of the church that dropped off a giant assortment of ice cream. The best repreive from the heat, but even a bigger blessings to our hearts!
- Prayer & Worship Night!
- Worship with Mimo & Eli on the cajon.

LOW:
- Cooked! Just when we thought we're hitting a smooth sailing in teaching, our schedule gets dramatically altered again. We've spent countless hours planning to build a curriculum that we're proud of, so the disappointment has been a challenge to process. However, even with our plans changing, we see the Lord in it. Today's devotional on the Bible story of Naomi, reminds us that loss and hardships can bring redemption and blessings.
BUFFALO:
- Smorgasbord of Instraments! The school practiced their end of year performances that included so many talented acts. The students will be singing, dancing, reciting Bible verses, and more. Excited to watch the full production next Wednesday.
Adios amigos!
