Japan Team Update - Day #23
HIGH:
- Progress! One of our younger students is known to be one of the most happy and energetic kids. However, in the classroom, we were told his English is not too good and he loses focus at times. Over the past three weeks, we've seen tremendous improvement and confidence in his speaking. When we were working on memorizing Psalm 23 today, he even took notes and asked several questions... Our team's heart is to bring guidance, careful listening/ observation, discipline, encouragement, and love to all the students. Such a beautiful thing to see these students grow!

- Core Strength! Since Team 2 has arrived, we're averaging around 14k steps, so we should be in pretty good shape. Well today the young boy students challenged us in a plank contest. Let's just say we did not make America proud with our performance... See you later. Off to do some sit ups...
