Japan Team Update - Day #24-26
HIGH:
- The Weekend! We love weekends- Friday Nights with extended worship/ teaching/ prayer. Off day on Saturday that allows us to sleep-in, do laundry, go shopping, and decompress a bit. Capped off with a full Sunday where we can receive during the morning service, then lead the children's ministry in second service, plus worship & prayer meeting at night.
- The Kids! As we reach the halfway point for Team 2, we start the transition to making good-bye gifts and encouragement notes. Each project crafted and letter written is solidifying our love for them. So many sacrifices have been made to get here and the work, both prep and execution, have been gruelling. Yet, these kids have truly increased our capacity to love and we are forever grateful for them!
- Prayer & Worship Night!
- Jasia shares her inspirational journey of missions and how God has shaped her heart to bring the Gospel to all the nations. It's also so cool to see the connection of her YWAM DTS in the Philippines and Japan, while Pr. Kim leads this church in Fukuoka and just went to the Philippines to connect with leaders who are seeing revival there.

LOW:
- We're sick. And we're tired. I guess we're sick and tired, of being sick. And tired... but all-in-all, team is in good spirits!
BUFFALO:
- The Boyz! Our student boys rallied together and got our team snacks. They bought a bunch of (mostly) tasty treats, but the best part was their labels that they taped on each one. Some read: "Bad taste, but try it", "Fissing", "Danger. To Eli", "So sour", "Hard gun."
God is good! All the time!
