Japan Team Update - Day #27
HIGH:
- After School Program! This week, the school changed their end of class time to earlier in the day due to logistical considerations. However, that change also affected some working moms' schedules, so they rallied together to get us to lead an impromptu After School Program for the whole week. Taking this on helps the families of the community, while also giving us more face time with the students which really blesses us!
- Prayer & Worship Night!
- Jodi shares her awesome testimony and how the Lord has moved through her life. It's a great connection with the message Pr. Kim shared this past Sunday during service.

- News from Home! Being in another country, especially when it's the mission field, can feel very very far from home. There are times where it can actually feel lonely even with a large team. We're away from our familiar people, rhythms, and comforts. Even as we embrace Japan's/the church's culture, manners, and language, any difference still has some effect on the inability to fully connect with the people around us, and in turn, pierces the reality that we're outsiders... So messages sent to our team have been an incredible encouragement! A taste from back home has certainly added fuel to the love tank!
