Japan Team Update - Day #28
HIGH:
- Kids at Prayer Meetings!
- Watching the kids at prayer meeitngs is so inspiring! Through the weeks, we've seen them on worship team, running the audio/video equipment, managing the power point slides, flagging, leading the congregation with hand motions, being active in worship & prayer... but also being kids like playing with toys, doing other's hair, and staring at the wall... It really shows the capability of kids and their hearts to experience the Lord and serve in the church. I hope our teams can take the inspiration and be motivated to lead our Catalyst Kids into being more of who they're created and called to be in Christ!
- Today, Eli was sitting with several of the students during prayer meeting and one of them asked him what Psalm 23 was about. After he took the time to explain each verse, you could see the appreciation in their eyes. Lately, we can also hear the kids singing much louder during worship. It's so cute hearing their sweet little voices sing in both languages!
- Prayer & Worship Night!
- Summer shares an honest and vulnerable story to her life. Her reliance on the Lord was so moving that Pr. Kim jumped in to share at the end of the prayer meeting. He shared about his own trials in life and how faith and thinking positively in Christ got him through those challenges. It's a must see!

LOW:
- Eww! Bro, the bugs here are so gross! In our dorm, we've killed giant spiders, centipedes, and other creepy-crawly-flying things. You know it's bad when big roaches run by and no one screams... Only yells of "Hey Mimo, get it!!" HA! Shoutout to the Anemas, the bravest people on our team!
BUFFALO:
- Onigiri! Speaking of buffalo, today's breakfast from 7-Eleven included a rice ball with Buffalo Chicken, Cheese, Chili, Vinegar. Odd you say?! Well, it's a collab to promote the MLB All-Star Game. Reaction from Sam's bite: "It's mid."
Blessings y'all!
